...I do like the look of the 1932 Salzburg tinnie posted by Martin (#145)...a splash of colour on a tinnie is always nice...


...and because most people have posted actual 1933 tinnies instead of 'pre's...here's another of my 1933....

"Horst Wessel Ehrenmalweihe, Vogelsgrün i.V., 18.Juni 1933"


...the image in the background is the actual Horst Wessel denkmal in Vogelsgrün....postcard postally used in 1933....

...I will hazard a guess and say that the memorial to HW no longer exists!

...Brackwede being very close to Bielefeld (or indeed, part of), with Bielefeld the birth-place of Horst Wessel...and Strum 174 was based in Bielefeld...
