Chris, how ironic guess what came in the Post today? Identical Tinnie to the last one you posted, the Badge is tiny in hand isn't it ? non the less though it's not a common Tinnie.
Here is one of my favourite tinnies

                  Help needed

Any information what so ever on the following Tinnie would be so much appreciated, as it is to be featured in my Book I am currently writing. This particular tinnie, from my perspective I rate highly.

Thank you Martin. Most of it is practice, lighting, setup, and.........what I am too lazy to do..........set up a tripod and use it. I am too lazy to do that, so I shoot handheld (one day I will do it right.....maybe). Your photos are looking much better. When you use a tripod you can use a much smaller f stop(which goes the large the f number, the smaller the aperature opening), and get more depth of field and sharper shots. In the words of my friend, and tutor, Herr Humm, most cameras are capable of taking far better photos than the average person is capable of setting up. He told me this the night in 1974 he asked if I would like to see his camera with which he took his Pulitzer prize winning photos. I was shocked to see his old Pentax SLR that was so battered that he had to hold the back shut with black friction tape...........he smiled at my reaction .

                      Hummdinger Tips

Hello Ron. always a pleasure to hear from you and hope you are well, utterly amazing he sounds like he was quite a character back in those Days. I have impoved Photograpic results drastically with what you advised me regrding setting Camera to macro mode and setting flash to off. I an not using a tripod just my camera firmly pressed down on solid ground such as steps or a table with object in front of the Camera (perhpas not the correct way but it stops camera movement). Ron would you be so good to let me know if have you seen the Badge before ?

                        Reverse

The Quality is so exceptional on this Badge I though the Badge warranted showing a picture of the Reverse

...very nice clear image, #86, showing the manufacturers details....the front side isn't so bad either!

...as for image #83, I can make out 'Landes Ski-Meisterschaft der ?.?.T.?.Oe

...I get a bit mixed up with the old style 'Gothic' lettering....any ideas what the other letters are?....if we know that, maybe the background description will fall into place...

                            pre 1933

This is one of my earliest 1925. A small piece apparently broke off at one time and I have been unable to find this tinnie in any books to see what the whole thing looks like?
