    What is this and is it fantasy or real? Another internet find.

    This is currently being offered for sale on the net. What is it? Is it a TR badge or something else?

      I think its from a hunting association.
      Ive found this:

      Not knowing german, ive translated it and its something like "The national association of hunting clubs Rheinland-Pfalz"

      Not a clue about the badge, sorry.


      Go to the section "Wir über uns", it has some info about the association.
      Somewhere there it says:
       "Der Landesjagdverband Rheinland-Pfalz wurde am 5. November 1949 in Bingen gegründet."
      Which i think it means the association was createdon 5 November 1949.
      So postwar maybe? Still an interesting piece and probably quite old.

        Wow. Santiago you're FAST. Thanks for the reply. The pin's on an internet auction site and it's about to close, so I was wondering if it was a period piece. Now that I know it's not, I guess I'll pass. It is kind of attractive though...

          Maybe this association was based upon a Third Reich hunting association so they could be related, i dont know. Maybe someone else who knows about hunting associations in Germany can help more.
