Post your unattributed Gold Party Badge Numbers

    Hi

I have started a thread over on the Individual Research forum for members to list their GPB numbers that they have so far failed to attribute.

I figure that over time, we will be able to help a few members and re-tie some threads of history on some of these badges.

Here is the link and hope member with unattributed badges will feel confident in supporting

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...splay.php?f=32

If you want your identity to remain anonymous, then just PM me the number and I will add the number, but not your name to the list.

If it OK, I will keep your user name on a separate spreadsheet otherwise I will forget which GPB number belongs to which current owner.

    Best wishes

    Raymond

    Hi Raymond,

I cannot send pictures but I like the intention of this thread.

I have a large Deschler with military style pin numbered "26540"
a small Deschler with number "57516" which was belonged to a certain
Walther Essele (no more info than that)
and finally a set numbered 58010.

Just started myself with making a list. it's crazy work!

    Regards, Theo

Now, I can't believe that Gregorio and I are the only two guys with a GPB without the necessary information

            Hi Theo

It may be a 'slow burner' thread which is to be expected.

There may be some reluctance to post up their GPB numbers for a number of reasons.

One reason is that forum members maybe concerned that when they post a number, they will be contacted by other members asking to buy the GPB, or by others offering to sell them the information on the owners name

On this point, forum members can PM me the number and I will just list the number and not post up their name. This protects their identity and still gives them the chance of having a GPB identified. I have done this with one number already

Keep the numbers rolling in as it would be great to get a name to a number, whether it is today, or in 6 months time.

Hi, Raymond I understand what you mean. But the more badges that can be linked to a name the more interesting the GPB shall be in the future. And according to some expert GPB collectors their were a lot of recipients who had several sets during the time. So it will not that strange if some of us have a paticular numbered set in their collection and another collector will find an equal number

I'm still searching myself. Everey day I find some names to put on my list. It's a crazy job but also a little bit of fun

                Regards, Theo

My GPB is #83480 and I would love to figure out the original owner.
