By whom and to what I have no idea but it commemorates an oath of allegiance made on the 25th of July 1934 in Gau Bayerische Ostmark.

A nice early heavy quality German Day Badge. The badge is of quality brass construction with a silver plating applied, showing around the edge the wording TREVESCHWVR 25.2.1934 GAV BAYR. OSTMARK and to the centre is a swastika with a hand superimposed over this, with the hand showing the scout salute!. The reverse of the badge is maker marked in raised letters R WACHTLER & LANGE MIT WEIDA. SA Very nice quality and condition and a very impressive badge = £35
