Back. I know the quality is not great, but I would love opinions. This would be my first gold badge.

Looks OK to me. Just curious... was this a local vet pickup?

                    Hey, that GPB is attributable!

I have just checked a list of attributable numbers and yours has just popped up. That is a bit like winning the lottery in my books.

Well that is a real unexpected bonus and no mistake

                    Hearty congratulations

Just checked my list - 33027 belonged to Georg Aumeier, an SS officer and Blood Order and Honour Ring recipient who appears in the 1935 SS Dienstaltersliste (No. 74) as an Oberfuhrer on the SS-Hauptamt. SS nr. 1237.

                      Jackpot!

A full bio of Aumeier can be seen here: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=73390.

Quite the SS dude - SS-Zivilabzeichen No. 3, Blood Order No. 586, co-founder of the Munich SS, Kommandant SS-Oberabschnitt-Sud, assigned to the SS Economic Section 1944, retired (at 49) in 1944 with a requested promotion to Brigadefuhrer denied by Pohl.

You have quite a piece of history - and quite a valuable piece.
