hi all
found this on a web site and was wondering what everyone thought of it the finish looks good (maybe too good) the chest has 19 feathers that i can see and the back hinge seems to be the correct colour BUT im still not convinced the finish as i said looks too good the chest feathers dont seem to be as well alined as other good examples i have found on this forum.and to be honest im just not well enough informed on these 44`s as they are so well faked
so whats everyones thought buy,buy,buy or run ,run,run

Hard to say but I would say its a very good fake. Finish looks to new to me and there are little differences in the eagle compared to good 1944 Brehmer badges.

This is the version which is generally considered to be a fake. It is very well made though which is probably the reason why some collectors believe that these have a chance. Is the paint as white in hand as it appears on the photograph? If so then that isn't good. I have not yet seen any conclusive evidence for the case against this version but would still go with the accepted badge. So I would say go get your trainers

this is the only photo i have, i have asked for more ,the brilliant white backround was another thing with this badge that was giving me a bad feeling looks like my feelings are correct

You'd need to have this one in hand to judge, the lighting is too bright to tell whether the white is the correct colour or not. There are a couple of points on it that worry me, one being the length of the pin, it looks to short compared to other '44's.....
