I know that these badges are for some reason not that popular amongst collectors but I thought I would post a group of three anyway as the Gold version is rarely seen. Hope you enjoy the photos.

This is a new badge on me, first time i have seen them.
Was there only one maker of the badge?

To the best of my knowledge there was only one maker of these badges. According to Jack Angolia, who authenticated mine, they are very rare with an estimated value of around $700.

The maker of these three badges is E. Schmidhaeussler, Pforzheim. This is the only maker I have ever seen on these badges although some examples are unmarked but obviously by the same maker.

Although they are quite rare, I know of two for sale at present including one from Craig Gottlieb at $785.
