    Reichskultursenat

As there haven't been any new topics posted for a couple of days, I thought I would post this badge. This same badge is shown in a couple of text books.

    Comments welcome.

Thanks Peter for the very nice comments. I haven't yet taken photos of the case but I will do so tomorrow and post them then. The Badge and Case are shown in DN's 2 reference books.

Note that this is not the usual red case with gold eagle which these awards were issued in.

                    Stan,
Absolutely fantastic badge! Do you know if the case was subsequently married to the badge, or ? It is certainly period looking, but I can't imagine why this badge wouldn't have originally come in a textbook red box.

                      Erich,

I bought this award from SW some years ago and asked him the same question. Steve's reply was that they came in the usual red case with gold eagle, which are highly desirable, as well as these non-descript cases.

As far as I am concerned I am extremely happy to have the badge which was featured in Angolia's FF & F in 1978 and the fact that it came in the blue case is of secondary importance.

That's a great set. Shame about the missing pin, but still nice to have with the award book.
