The enamel on the front looks poor and I don't like the ridges on the oakleaves. The wreath also doesn't go righ tto the edge. Anyone else notice the swastika doesn't touch the inside edge at 6 o'clock?
The back looks pretty good at first glance, but the number is oddly engraved and I see some flaws in the pinplate.
I would say a fake, but a good one and not one I've seen before.
What I actually meant is you can see white enamel between the bottom edge of the outline of the swastika when all four points should be touching the metal circle.
Having the swastika disk a little off square in relation to the wreath is not necessarily fatal.
I have my doubts about the lettering on the front. And if I'm correctly informed about the numbering on the back their were two different patterns of numbering ( one impressed and {more?} rotograved styles) This is, I supose, the impressed type and these digits differs from the others that I studied. Thats my opinion...
