    Any connection between two songs?

    Was "SA marschiert" basically the imperial-era "Argonnerwald um Mitternacht" filled in with different words? Thanks.

    Nope- when you look at the notes you will see that the first few are a bit similar but in total its a completely different song

      The tune remains the same

      Actually, the tune of Argonnerwald is the same one used for the song "SA marschiert". This song had many variants but the tune was always the same as Argonnerwald (e.g. Durch Groß-Berlin marschieren wir, Durch deutsches Land marschieren wir, Durch Sachsenland marschieren wir, etc.).
