3 Jahre GaumeisterschuBe medal??

I just picked up a bunch of medals. A big enameled one that I have never seen is this "3 Jahre GaumeisterschuBe" medal. It's obviously a shooting award. It's a red enameled eagle clutching a swaz in a rifle scope crosshair. It's all inside a wreath that iz gold colored zinc.

What is the history of this and what is it worth?

The "value" question for a 3 year wasn't answered though from what I could find. The red enamel is all there, minus a teeny spot on the right leg. The gold is present on the back but not on the front of the wreath. It is numbered "843" on the reverse.

Any value info anybody can offer is GREATLY appreciated!
