Party pin oddity

I picked these up while in Germany in the 70's. There was a small box of them, I kept these two. Not rare, but a bit unusual to find the "blanks" for unfinished party pins One to left the first stamping of the badge. The 2nd one has the enamel fired, but the silver wash/plating has not yet been applied.....or the pin. I thought they were somewhat interesting.

The one on the left seems to be quite common but nice to see the one on the right. Mine's an M1/14.
