Hi Stu. At first glance this one looks ok to me. Nice wear pattern and the usual features you would look for in these badges. The dot pattern in the diamond also matches perfectly with at least one other good M1/14 I have seen.

However... there are fakes of the M1/14 around. As with another badge recently posted here I worry about these messy swastikas. This combined with the fact that the M1/14 badges have clearly been faked would make me want to perhaps look for another badge. That is not to say that the badge is 100% bad. I just can't say whether it's 100% good.

hi xen it was me who posted the other m1/14 and to be honest the diff in the 2 where easy to spot when in hand ,in saying that i have a week to either keep this or send it back so would like a concrete decison if poss as for the swas its nowhere near as messy in hand as it is looks on the photo just hard to get a good clear focus on my camera

Just had a look at the seller's photos Stu and the swastika looks much cleaner on those. Theo also likes the badge and I'd keep this one
