HJ Shooting and RAD Pins- Opinions?

I just picked up these pins from a fellow board member and would like some more information on them. From the research here that I have done, they seem to be good ones.

The HJ badge is the silver grade, and the RAD badge is gold-colored (with a broken pin sadly).

Any information & observations are greatly appreciated!

Regarding the NSAD (RAD) pin, is the writing in gold or silver? & is the white background colour pure white or ivory/light cream?

Here are some better pics of the badges.

Don- I cannot say for certain what color the lettering is on the NSAD pin; The lettering seems somewhat evenly "toned", in comparison to the RAD emblem itself which is definately silver.

*edit* The white enamel is pretty white, but definately not as bright as the white on the HJ badge.

XEN- It is my understanding that the HJ badges from this maker that have the raised circle and "wings" surrounding the pin attachment are good. This one has those as you can see. It definately has some corrosion issues (and wear on the rifle on the obverse).

The white of the badge should be off white/ivory & the letters silver. Even if the silvering has rubbed off the letters they shouldn't be golden as the badges were made of a white metal.

It can be difficult to capture in a picture but here's one in white it's shown up quite well.
