German Singing medal.....

I need some input on this one. This appeas to be a 1938 German singing festival medal. I have heard of period tinnies for this but never seen a medal before. ANY thoughts or input would be a big help! Also was wondering what value one might put on this. Thanks for all your help in advance! oh--one other thing...medal if to a Fritz Zimmerman 1938 and marked 925 on the back with a small halmark. Also appears to have a maker name on the bottom "Hugvenin". Mike

its swiss not german- thats why there are two languages on the back: german:"Der Eingenössische Sängerverein" and french: "la societé federale de chant"

Hello Mike!

Can you post a closeup of the bottom of the reverse; the litte marks to the right of "Chant" and whatever it says along the bottom?

I see that whatever mark (maker's?) that is to the right of "Chant" is also to the right of the pin hinge.
