    Not my field, Detlev handled the one with swords and said the loop catch is accepted as an early production piece.

              The pin back pieces is the clasical form of the second production. Can be found with silver mark .900, or as shown, L/50. The one with the swords has a number of problems.

                  OK, I hear what he says. Erly production ceased before the introduction od swords. The only cross with no enamel on the reverse is the 2nd class. This is as the 3rd class. The time scale, plus grade do not add up. The best is that this is a converted piece.

                      I am in the UK and at home. Pleased to give more information on this. Have covered some in my book. You will see the diferences.There are coversions, got a number of photos to illistrate this.

                          as happens here.

                          I have seen both pieces, the pinback is from my point of view perfect, while the other is nothing I have seen before. That's why I have NOT given any opinions about this piece
