The Seefahrt tinnie makers...

Hi all,

It is my ambition to discover how many different makers made this little Seefahrt tinnie, my favorite amongst the tinnie collection. And also the different and numerous variations certain makers made of the same badge.
I'll start by listing the various makers I have found so far, and hope that others list theirs.

It would be interesting too, and very enlightening, to know a little of the history behind this tinnie, and the reason/purpose it was produced. I'd personally like to know more about this, and I think others would find it interesting.

Thanks KAS. I really have learned a lot about the various makers and the tooling they used to make their products with these tinnies. Zimmermann especially used a very different tool, and his technique was very different in the way he carved his eagle and ship details.

I am impressed with that silver Seefahrt award, as I am with the price of it! I never knew an example like this existed. This is a little more than I care to spend for an award of this type. But I do appreciate you posting photos.

There seem to be an endless number of badges by some of the makers of these tinnies. It will be a never-ending hunt for each and every piece.
