HJ membership question

Once again, outside my area, so I will ask those that know the answer. Is the HJ membership pin as below (from the thread going on right now) and worn on the left shirt pocket the same pin as what would be worn on the HJ cap? Examples attached.

First, what I assume is a shirt membership pin:

Generally, yes. Some caps used the version with flat prongs on the back instead of the pin, but it was the same size and design.
