A friend at work has a box of items from her German Grandfather. I am new to the forum and collect mostly qualification badges. I don't doubt the authenticity of the items but am looking for more info for her. I believe this is a cap badge of a police shako. Has the Assman A on back. Any idea of value. Thanks

no one every responded to this but I saw the other badge on a website as a badge on a skaho, the RSS one in the later thread. This is a large badge. The remaining screw is 1/2 inch long. The eagles wing span is 5 3/8 inch from tip to tip across the back not counting the bend. About 3 inches tall. It would have to have been a big hat. Any thoughts or help out there. Thanks as always
