I believe it is a fake based on the centrepiece of a fake gold party badge. I have seen them for sale from the usual suspects.

do you have a pic of the golden party badge that causes you to feel this way?...would be nice to see it on this thread....
i have to say this is quite unusual but the reverse looks to be copper/brass base and the pin and pin plate look pretty good.....
the white enamel on the border is unusual but i have seen crazier things...
also carlo...is it possible to get a very good clear pic of the white enamel in the center of the pin?
