Hi Van,

both badges are made for officials for the XI Olympic Games in Berlin 1936;

the blue one is for a Startrichter = judge observing the starting position of the athlets

and the red one is for a Kampfrichter = judge.

the badges are bad. they were never even the type used in the berlin games. sorry. they have been around since the early 1990s.

the garmisch badge looks ok to me. i would prefer to have it in hand to be sure, as for the berlin badges, they are pure fantasy items. regards mike

Well one good sign for the first badge is that it's not made by the same company that made the other fakes.

Hello,
In the picture that Don posted with all the fake badges made by that company I see they show a plaque of the Olympic stadium complex. I have seen these up for sale before and was just wondering if these items are completely bogus or that some of this type actually did exist.

It is also a copy? I have only found one on the Web, put up for sale, and sold in the Netherlands.

Yup. Fake. Polish copy of a the a fore mentioned fantasy badges. As said the Garmisch may stand a chance.
