Gau thuringen opinions

There are 1139 holders of the Gau Thuringen Silber Erhrenzeichen listed in that Gau Honor Book. Mine is over 1000, has the 800 on the outer edge and is tarnished silver.

Thanks for that information Joe, very interesting. I've never managed to get my hands on the book so was taking that info by word of mouth from others who had (& were obvioulsly wrong ).

The lowest number I have seen with the frosted silver variety is 1263 which is still oustside the 1139 listed in the book.
