    What's This?

I'm posting this for someone else. I know nothing about tinnies and would like to know what it is and if its common or rare. Thanks, Ron.

1st may 1933 (Tag Der Arbeit = Day Of Work) would be my guess, im like a 95% sure, the whole badge design (eagle, date, form) is identical to the 1934 tinnie, but i havent seen a 1933 example yet
I couldnt tell you if that tinnie is rare or not, but years from 1934 to 1939 are common (late examples (1937,38,39) are a bit more "rare" to see often)

      Ron,
Nicely designed, but rather common, day badge designed by RK (Professor Richard Klein).

Gents Actually I beleive it is a tinnie for German Arts and Culture. I guess on price would be $15-20 US. It is not as common as the labor day badges but maybe a notch above. Robert

Maybe more people can help you out and determine if its a tag der arbeit, or if it is what Robert said, wait for more replies

Regarding the signature its because many people look for militaria in their signatures, many wanted items, so i kinda tried to make something funny out of it

Yes, better new ones, rather than used ones But when it comes to militaria, i preffer used items, its better to have something it was wear, or used because there is so much history behind them.
Good luck John with the hunt
                      Happy collecting

To find a mint girlfriend would have to mean she is aged about 12 these days.
