Us & Nazi Flag Race Button

Guys--I am a hat collector and not a badge collector, but I have had this souvenir button for many years. I know it is from the Vanderbilt Cup Race of 1938 ( I googled it and found there was a book about the race, so I bought it)--my question is, are these things common or rare, and do they have much value?

I guess it must be pretty rare, I've never seen one in all my years of collecting.
