In my opinion not a good badge. The font is wrong on the reverse and everything looks wrong on the obverse. Save your money!

This is a fake from the early 1970's. Note the gilt lettering (should be silver); the numbers are not individually stamped as they should be and the "A" in "DAP" is not directly over the centre of the bow.

A similar item is illustrated in "Reproduction Nazi Insignia" by Stockton and Charlton published in 1971.

It's all been said before - one of the better fakes, but a fake.

Too many leaves on the wreath
No silver to letters of borders
                Wrong font
                Etc.

You don't see many of this particular fake around. The usual fakes can be seen on my Gold Party Badge website.

                      Hi,

Jray is right. That article is just great. If you take a little time to study the text and examen the pictures very carefully, you know exactly where to look at.

                      Regards, Theo

                        Mike,

Just checked my records. I bought an identical badge in 1968 for £3.50 and sold it for £4.00 in 1973 after I read the Stockton & Charlton book and saw it described as a fake.
