    Singer Choir Banner

A friend has a banner brought back from WWII. I am wondering if anyone can identify it for me and let me know its signifigance.

The link below is from a museum and it shows a Manequin of Hitler and the flag behind him is exactly like the one this gentleman has.

The gent says he was in Berlin at the end of the war and he found this flag/banner/tapestry in a headquarters building. He also has several other relics.

    Bob.

Could you ask the gentleman to perhaps send you a pic of the full banner that he has got? Also, you would probably be better off posting your questions and the flags and banners forum ... Cheers, Torsten.

Looking at the photo in my phone
                On the back is
                MGU Sangerchor
                1887
                1937
                Lautenbach

                The Front is
                Sangerbund Westmark
                The Glockenschpiel
                1933

The banner is square and has the fringe on it. It has only one of the ties for a pole or to hang it.
