I picked this up years ago at an Antique Store in Berea, Kentucky for just a couple of bucks.
Can't find out what it is?

never seen the likes before. could be a period fun item or just fake as got 1939 and the swaz on it. sorry carnt help more. i'd keep it though as if a period fun item its a little odd item to have

I feel quite sure that this item is not from before 1945.

Inspection tag or chit of some sorts? Made entirely of brass and the brass swas is soldiered on separately. Picked it up at an Antique Mart in Kentucky for just a few bucks.
