The question is if after 1938 ( invasion of Germany in Austria) the name D. u. OE A.V. stayed the same , as on my badge, or changed in D. A.V. Deutsche Alpen Verein?

Any ideas about the d beforeD.u.A.V. ?

Okay, the German Austrian Alps Association (D.u.Ö.AV) came about through the fusion of the German Alps Association (DAV) and the Austrian Alps Association (ÖAV) in 1873. In 1938 it was renamed DAV until wars end when it was dissolved. The DAV and ÖAV exist today so it follows that your badge must have been made prior to 1938. Hope this helps.
