    1st Blood order

Finally got my first blood order. It's a first pattern and I do believe this one has been mentioned in one form or another on this forum. I am happy with it and would love to know if anyone can help track some info down on the owner. The recipient was Heinz Weigl, an SA man from Vilsbiburg. Any help would be appreciated.

            Hello Greg!
That's the nicest I've seen for a long time! I know the name sounds familiar, but I can't remember from where. But, your best bet for researching Weigl would be through Robert McDivitt--he's provided excellent results for several I've had him research.

I have to agree with Erich and Jon, a beautiful, textbook-original first pattern Blood Order. The condition is outstanding. Congrats!

All of the personel files of SA and Party members, or at least all of those that survived the war, are at the National Archives in College Park, Maryland. I found the SA file on the recipient of a Blood Order that I owned (it is depicted in Detlev's book) and it provided a wealth of interesting information.

                  Greg-

If you are looking to research a certain individual, I would like to recommend John P. Moore. If you need his contact info, just send me a PM
