What is this RLB badge for?

Hello,
I recently got this badge and wondered if it is a membership badge,I saw an earlier thread with a leaders badge but noticed that mine lacks the gold edging around the letters.
Can someone help?

this is an official's badge for the Reichsluftschutzbund. Air raid protection union....the owner of this was probably a block warden in charge of enforcing light discipline, making sure their were buckets of sand in the houses etc.

do not want to bum you out but imo this is a fake pin...
follow this link to see pics of what a real one should look like....
i was thinking it may be bad but needed to see the back to be sure...you just got this off ebay recently right>?....i remember seeing this...FD84 was the seller(or something claose)...if you can return it....this pin is worth at least 150.00 imo due to rarity...the one pictured on the link i am adding is the only one i have seen with the pin back attachement

Thanks for your reply.I didn't buy this from e-bay,but from a local militaria fair,I only paid $20 so if it is a fake I haven't lost much!

PS according to a dealer who is one of the best in the UK it's fine,he examined it just after purchase!
