HJ Award and Document- please help

A freind of mine has this and wants to include this in a trade offer to me. What exactly is it and what is a fair value on it.

I hope I have this posted in the right area, the eagle devise does not have any sort of pin attachment and seems it never had one.

    Thank you in advance, Jeff

      Inside.

The golden metal eagle is not flat, it is slightly curved.

Reading Sutterlin script is not easy, but it is a sports certificate for coming 2nd in some HJ sports event in 1944. Something or someone travelled 46.9 metres - too long for jumping, so I'm guessing either discus, javelin or hammer throw.

The leaf belongs with the set, but probably not the brass eagle, which is usually described as a trumpet eagle.

                  No idea of value. Sorry.

                      Hj Badge

The eagle is a badge of "die Schulungsdienst der Hitlerjugend"it was an educational institution

The eagle is not unique to the "Schulungsdienst der Hitlerjugend" - it was commonly used on a number of HJ documents and publications. In metal format I have only ever seen it used on HJ trumpets (note that it is curved and has no pin attachment).

The black enamel cross is a HJ fanatasy item out of Poland in the past 10 years, usally with a screw-post attachment.
