I agree, that 5th class can´t be a good one for many reasons. But what is interesting is that neck cross... never had seen a denazification on an Eagle Order... why to do it with a prohibited piece? (remember Eagle Orders were prohibited after 1945). I think that neck cross is a good one and the form in which the swords are added to the cross makes me think that it is a 1943 (I refer to the hollow in the enamel).
About the hungarian officer II do not believe that both crosses were awarded to him until it he was disobeying the article 6 of the Bylaws of the Order where it was said that when a top degree was granted the awardwinner had to return to the Chancery the previous Order. On the other hand he had to be awarded firstable that 5th class, then the breast cross and finally the neck cross... a long way for a diplomatic award I think).
