Olympic Starting Judge Badge

Hello all,

I recently came across this badge in a grouping of items I purchased. It's approximately 1-7/8" diameter and rather hefty for its size at 36.6 grams. I translate the text across the bottom to mean "Starting Judge" but not sure. I'm not up on my Olympic items and just wondering if anyone has seen such as I haven't. Thanks for any input.

olympic startrichter badge

the badge is a fake, not even a reproduction as it never existed in any form for the 1936 berlin olympics. these have been around for about 15 years or longer usually being touted as rare olympic badges. sorry for the bad news, but you can see these on ebay all day in various forms, they are all bad. regards,,mike
