My vote is for a good early one. The stamped ones were usually not maker marked, and I think are nicer than the solid RZM'd honour versions.

Hi Sil , I know there is a first pattern 1931.
This is the second pattern, what do you mean by an early one......1933?
Are the massive alu ones later ? Many of these have RZM but not all.

There are a number of variations of Braunschweig badges--briefly, and in roughly chronological order:
1. The early, round type. Most if not all of those pictured in reference books are fakes, but there are a few period photos showing them being worn.
2. The hollow stamped oval version unmarked
3. The hollow stamped oval version marked
4. The aluminum solid RZM marked version
5. The aluminum alloy (white metal) RZM marked version

Personally, I don't like the posted badge--most of the stamped examples have better detail to the leaves, eagle, and lettering.

I agree with Erich the details on this badge are to soft.
I Have a hollow stamped badge and the detail is a lot more defined.
In my opinion sorry
