Chris, I think like Erich about your first version badge. About your second version, it******180;s the same model than the firstly discussed badge in this thread. I think it******180;s original, and more than a half part of people too, but some other gents don******180;t think so. You have to choose your possition.
Regards.
Well Roman, now you are saying this second model is good (I´m talking about the Chris´one). You didn´t think so before. This is basically the same that the firstly discused badge. Much more polished but same details, I think (look the smailing head of the eagle, which for you was a proof of being a fake). Have you changed your oppinion before having been the main critical against my badge?
Gregorio,
I STILL suppose km-spain's (Eduardo) badge may be bad! His badge is different from badge posted by Chris Lee. Yes the fotos of Lee's badge are poor, but if you will look closely, you'll see a difference between badges.
However, Chris Lee, can you post for us better foto of your 2nd pattern badge?
Gentlemen,
Sorry about the quality of the previous pictures. I hope these others are better. As far as the first pattern goes, this badge is exactly the same as the one listed in Reinhard Tieste`s Tagungs-und Veranstaltungsabzeichen / 1930-1945. Although as we all know not all references are exact. There recently was a whole big discussion on this forum on the expertice and knowledge of seasoned collectors / dealers. If these badges do prove to be reproductions, then they fooled one of the most respected and admired experts in the field of TR collectables, whom I bought both of these from several years ago. This gentleman, who resides in Wisconsin, is considered one of the leading authorities on TR collectable, and this would just go to show that not everyone knows everything.
