    hj shooting award help

I was at a show where I picked up a hj shooting award, it is marked m1/63 and matches the ones posted here.
It has enamil dammage to the right side white, all the rest is in good condtion.
I only paid 25$ for it, how much does the damage hurt the value of a pin like this, I see some dealers selling them for 125 with minor damage to the black rings, mine has no damage to any enamel excpt the right side white and appx 80% of the white in this side is missing. I think 25$ was a very fair price for this with the damage. opinions please. thanks

    HJ shooting award

I guess it depends on what you want in your collection a $25 piece with damage or a $75-$85 in good condition. You need to be the judge.
However $25 is still a good low price assuming the pin is good and maker mark clear.

Personally I never buy items with damages when they are pieces which you can find in very good condition for a cheap price (I´m talking about less than $200 more or less).
But there are different tastes for this question, as Rick sais. You choose.
      Regards from Spain.
