SA Sports Badge for War Wounded

Hi Guys

I have just got hold of an SA Sports Badge for War Wounded ! (The one with the 'Opfer' rune on the bottom of it !) I'm not sure if this is the right place to show it but would certainly like to share it with you. I have only seen the one I've got in real life.

I can't post pics so if anyone can assist please send me a mail and I'll send the pics to you to attach for us !

Unfortunatly this badge seems to not be original. The RZM Mark is not correct. The pin catch is also not as the originals. This piece was only produced by 2 manufacturers. The most common is marked 100

You say this badge was made by only two firms and 100 is one of them could you tell us who was the other firm.

Thanks for attaching your pics. Do you have one of the maker marks and RZM mark. This is intriguing me now.

I would also appreciate it if you were able to give me the measurements of the award (width, height and thickness)

Does anyone else have pictures of theirs available ?

As far as I know there was only one maker and that's 100 so I'd be very interested in finding out who the other one was and seeing a picture of the award. C'mon guys haul em out !!!!

Alf - yes, you posted it in the right place - this forum is still political organizations and sports along with tinnies. Seba may split these out in the future, but for now, they are all lumped together.
