What is this? police or tinnie?

Anyone know what this is or has come acroos one before. Is it anything particular, looks sort of police style to me or just another tinnie? Part of a group belonging to a civil servent serving the armed forces

    Any Thoughts Welcome

      Typical...

"Day of the Police " tinnie. Should be fairly heavy?

Here's one that sold recently, by our very own Mike Dunn!

          Police

Ralph nailed it - in fact if you look at the left side (I think) of the SS helmet of the "SS- und Polizei-Grenadier-Division", you will see that symbol.

          Regards-

Kevin.......I don't understand what you mean.

If you are saying that this tinnie looks similar in design to the decal on an SS-Polizei helmet.....than indeed you are correct.
It is not the same shape and design as the decals on a helmet.

All police forces that used Stahlhelms (and also firebrigades issued with allumium M34's) had polizei decals on the left of the helmet and a National Shield on the right side.

This tinnie was sold in 1942 (14th and 15th of Februari) to raise funds to the Polize and the Technische Nothilfe

              Similiar

Yes, similiar is what was intended; not the exact same.
