I agree with ErichS -- a beautiful matched set! This set appeared a few years ago on another site.

    Congrats,

    Br. James

Yes, a very nice set. Where were they before Br. James? Do you own them now Tim?

          Hi Joe,

In 2013 this set appeared on the GPB thread on the 'World War Militaria' website. It is a great loss to our hobby and to this particular subject that that thread disappeared when WWM was taken down...and who knows how many other bits of rare information were also lost at that time??

As others have stated Tim....a beautiful set of original Goldenes ParteiAbzeichen...and Br. James, you are correct,
when these sites go "black", a treasure trove of photos and information is indeed lost. Let's hope that some of the work
was saved to individual members archives (hard drives) to be posted at a later date, on some other site.

Anybody notice that the safety pin on the Fuess is upside down, for a lefty?

                Hi James,

Do you have the link to that WWM thread? Yes, it will be gone but maybe we can search for the cache file?

I see that now Gary, but I don't think that would have helped. I think the pins would have to latch on the right to make it easier for a lefty. If a lefty is pushing the pin with their left hand then the pin point should be on the right. But I have never seen such an arrangement.

So sorry, Mil, but I don't have the link to that thread or to any thread found on the WWM site...perhaps Andreas, ErichS, JoeW or other of our colleagues here held onto that information? It is a great loss to all of us who consulted it regularly!
