    kriessieger 1944

I have spotted one of these badges in an antique shop here in Riga, Latvia. It looks and feels good. The enamel is chipped like enamel should. However, the makers marks on the back are not raised FERD. WAGNER PFORZHEIM .
Is this particular manufacturer faked?? I will TRY and get some pics of it before I buy it. he wants 50 lats which is about 50 pounds sterling.
    Is this a good price??

    Please help experts!!!

No one in the collecting community that I know of has yet seen a Kreissieger 1944. If it's genuine (which I greatly doubt for the reasons below) then it would be a very good price.

You state that the enamel is chipped. The 1944 badges were not enamel, but painted plus they were only made by Brehmer.

Please do get some pictures though as it's good to see what the fakers are up to.

    Cheers
    Don

Did my homework on the Kreissieger 1944 etc. on this site I recently went back to the shop and had another look. Shocking fake that is enamel and not painted. Oh well, I will get something from Riga soon.
