    Glider pin question???

Does anyone have a pic of a glider pin? A friend of mine has one and I wasn't sure if it was real or fake. It is about an inch across with a glider inside a wreath. There is no markings on the front. In the back it it dated 1943. I am guessing it is some kind of a glider pin. At first I thought it was a civilian airplane factory workers pin. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, DEL

      Glider Pin

If it is bronze in color and has the 261943 number it the upper half and a "stamped" serial number in the lowe half, it is likely original. It is number 4128h in Huskens Katalog der Abzeichen.
