Was it permissable for the SS to wear their party membership pin as a tie tac?

Yes it was persmissable to do this, though it was not really a tie-tac that affixed the tie to the blouse. Regulations allowed the membership pin to be attached to the tie at level with the breast pocket. Party Leaders were also so permitted.
