Sorry, but judging from the back alone, i would say this is a fake. It looks cast instead of die stamped, and I have never seen an RZM logo raised like that.

Again I must admit that I don't have this Badge in my own collection. What I do have are some books and pictures. This type I have never seen before. And I don't like the backside.

Like sjl told, it seems to be cast. That raised rzm logo is absolutly not good. There is also something in the withe field at 3 o clock? And what the strange discloring in de red field? I would see: Return to sender!

I have checked Weitze. I'm also confused now. But the number on that one is much higher! Keeping an open mind, their are two possibilities:
                1. This is a specific manufacturer methode of one maker called "15"

                2. This is a specific manufacturer methode of a bogus faker.

I'm still looking for such an badge. But if I had the chose; I bought only one of the types that you usely encounter.

                regards

I have found a few of these directly from WWII veterans and they DO NOT look like this one. The reverse and markings are totally different and the color of the red is much more deep on my originals.

When we my expect an in-depht studybook solely about HJ medals and Insignia so that all those things in the future becomes a little bit easyier.

                      Regards, Theo
