Sorry Pascal, I was only getting a red X, but it's working now.

While we wait for some replies, I'll set the ball rolling. Pascal already knows my opinion as we have been communicating off forum.

I have two conserns with this badge, firstly the RZM seems to have a lazy "m", & secondly, the pin plate, although not as narrow as the newer fakes is oval with cut ends which is a red flag too me.

        Cheers
        Don

          hi,

I agree with Don about the cut edges to the pin retaining plate. I looked at both of mine and neither have that style of plate.

I don't like it for a couple of reasons. The thin pin plate with the cut off ends is one. Don Scowen has offered to post mine for comparison. You'll see an oval pinplate, but not cut off at the ends. My maker is M1/30.

I believe I've seen the same reverse RZM markings on suspect HJ member diamonds as well.

The silver plating on the pin looks a little too new and frosty to me as well, considering the tarnish on the back.

Thanks Don - I meant M1/130 for my badge.

I don not like the pin setup either, I try to avoid these setups as it costed me in the past.

                    Thank's a lot for all the reply's..

But as said at Don in a privat mail, it can't be a recent fake, I know this insignia since 15 years, the buyer bought it for around $15 at a flea market ?
