    Any info on Engendorf shcool?

(An association member will be posting a photo for me shortly)

I just got this finely struck 800 silver stick pin:
Thüringische Staatsschule für Führertum und Politik Egendorf

I've also seen other hallmarked silver badges of this school that have a brooch pin to the reverse.
Does anyone have any background info on this state school for politics and Führertum in Egendorf?

      hi Raz

      first of all great badge/pin

was the school located in Egendorf or in Thüringen? iether way i didn't find any NPEA schools or Adolf Hitler schools in those/that town(s)
Reichsführerschule (RFS) was located in Potsdam
2 Reichsführerinnenschule were located in Bad Godesberg and Boyden
maybe Egendorf is one of the 22 gebietsführer schools (of which i don't know the locations) which had a 3 week training similar to RF Schools but did not have the national school status

when i find more you'll be the first to know

That is a really nice stickpin--is that a Third Reich stickpin--never seen it before. Next question would be did the other schools mentioned has sickpins form their school. Thanks, Mike

Hi guys, thanks for the input so far.

Yes I think for sure this has got to be an NSDAP stickpin.

          Richard:
I assumed myself that it's a school in the Gau of Thuringia in Egendorf just east of Blankenhain,
Krakau is just north west of here as well.

I might have to find some kind of local history group there and do some emailing.

            Hi Fellow

Nice to see the input. I am helping Raz to post one more picture. Here is the reverse of Raz's stick pin.

I'm pretty sure this was an advanced training school for NSDAP officials, hence it's not being in any of the lists of HJ training facilities. The Blankenhain/Thür. location is correct.

Hüsken lists this "abzeichen" as #72.54, which is in the NSDAP section.

By the way, one of these went for a song on eBay about a year ago, probably because nobody knew what it was. Perhaps you were the lucky winner?
