Sorry - bad. Here's where they come from:
            http://www.nicholasmorigi.com/catalogue.php?sid=MEMBERSHIP%20AND%20AFFILIATION%2 0LAPEL%20BADGES
The RZM mark is badly misshapen, and it is doubtful that the M1/129 license number was ever used, as no one has ever been able to produce an unquestionably period badge with this mark - although it is the favourite RZM code of modern fakers.

The "puffiness" around the letters is another giveaway of a fake, and it looks artificially aged.

I find the best way to keep ahead of the fakes is to keep an eye on them.

The little elves are doing really good work these days, especially with party-type pins. The enamel and materials are far better than previously seen, and they try to dress them up with a few new RZM codes and maker marks as we catch on to them.

WOW that one was really well aged too. So youre sure its a fake? I always thought that the fakes generally didn't even have RZMs.

                      Again M1/129

                      Agree it's fake.

Look for my first thread at this forum (about similar badge) http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ad.php?t=73852
There are enough pics and info.

That is indeed the best way to spot them. Good job.

                        Roman thanks for the link.

Pretty much all of the new fakes have RZM marks of some type.

This is a well made fake, by now in this period of time, everyone should stay away from these types of badges,,, badges with these types of digits..
