    RAD "Ordensland" Uniform Badge??

    Hey everyone!

This is an odd little duck that I had never seen before, and had no idea what it was until I ran across a RAD Picture book "Ordensland" with it smack dab on the cover!

Does anyone have any more info on what RAD "Ordensland" was??

The badge is mine, but I do not have the book.

    Thanks guys!
    John

PS: The front of badge is enameled...but with a little damage.

It is referred to as the "Ordensland" because East Prussia was settled (conquered) by the Teutonic Order in the 1400s and was "Germanized". The black cross on a white shield was the Teutonic Order's symbol.

            Thank you Anthony and Stephen

I really appreciate your help to ID this badge...now I know.

When I first saw it, I was thinking maybe.... the Knights Templar...with 3rd Reich overtones

            Best regards...John

                Ola Humberto!

It is roughly 20mm x 20mm. I have no idea where they wore it. On their cap, uniform... I haven't a clue?

                Best regards....John
