          Here's the only ring I have. Vet obtained, I received it from JFK (no, not John F. Kennedy, rather Joseph F. Kamnikar). He was a friend of my parents in Germany and worked with my father. It was his only souvenier from the war. It is marked 835, with a jeweler's mark and a capital K.

            SS and Luftwaffe rings!

            Very cool.

            No, I've never put that evil thing on. The awards and decorations, insignia, etc. were mandated. . . these rings are very personal items. Puts them into a class by themselves. Can't bring myself to slip the creepy thing on.

            They are very "sexy", though, eh?

              Ralph, Wow your ring took me back a few years, A firend of mine that I worked with some years ago showed me a ring identical to yours if memory serves me right that belonged to his grandmother for that reason he wouldn't sell it. Very nice
