Could anyone tell me what the significance is of the "A" on this NSFK "C" certificate badge is? Have checked all my sources and can find nothing about one with an "A." Many thanks. Brad

    C glider badge

    Hello,

That is a C grade glider profiency badge, the "A" does stand for ******214;sterreich (Austria) and is also the symbol still used on the cars to ID the country it destinates from (for example: A= Austria, B= Belgium, D= Germany, etc...)

Is it maker marked on the reverse?

    Cordial greetings,
my collectionfield : German glider pilots

Thanks for the help. I shall note it in my description. I have not yet taken delivery, but as far as I can tell the back is not marked as it is a lapel badge. Brad Hastings
